As a small child I became acquainted with many animals. I so love every single one I have encountered thus far. This wonderful place blessed me with the recollection of those days of my youth. There is a magic to the presence of these special beasts. I would invite anyone looking for a place to reclaim the joy evoked by this experience. Take your children, they really need the experience in order to equate a value to the eco-system! If you want to disconnect from the WWW for a while, do it here. You will not regret it! I am so going back ASAP!
Absolutely loved this place! My husband and I both payed for the sloth encounter and it was so worth it and goes to a great cause supporting the animals! Very up close and personal with all of the animals!
We spent 4, very cold hours here today, and had a blast! Staff was wonderful and knowledgeable. I was afraid the animals wouldn't be active due to the cold weather, but they were just fine. Can't wait for spring to visit again. Parrot house was our favorite.
Took the family there today and we ALL had fun. You get to see and touch animals up close. The staff so friendly and knowledgeable. I think our kids enjoyed this more than the zoo in Asheboro! You can tell the animals are well cared for. A very nice visit!!
My SO LOVES sloths. We brought the kids and got her the sloth experience. The kids had a blast! She got to feed the sloth and give it butt scratches. We will be back for the fox and monkey experience.
